Jana Wilson Award

Jana Wilson Award

At this year’s National Diversity Council (NDC) Houston’s Women’s Conference on September 20, the NDC will present the first ever Jana Wilson Award, sponsored by Capgemini NA.  The Jana Wilson Award honors a woman leader in business or the community who is devoted to mentorship and invested in helping her colleagues (women and men) thrive in their professional pursuits.

Nominee Criteria

Nominees for the Jana Wilson Award should be a manager or above her organization with a proven track record of mentorship, citing tangible examples which can include:

  • Involvement in formal mentorship programs.
  • Leadership in innovation.
  • Measureable support of community programs that focus on mentorship and career support.

Nominees Submissions

Is there a woman leader in your organization who you want to recognize?  Submit a video nomination describing the impact the nominee has in your organization through her mentorship.  Creative, fun videos are welcome!  Feel free to enlist the help of others to tell the story.  Videos should be no longer than 2 minutes.  Videos should be submitted in .mp4, .avi or .mov file type to yvonne.harris@capgemini.com at the earliest.

Videos nominations will be reviewed by committee, and a winner will be selected.  The top 3 candidate nominations will be shared via social media for the selection of a “People’s Choice Award.”
